Our aim with this beginner workshop is to introduce you to the core principles of 2D development in Unity. We will take you through the fundamental tools and workflows used to create a 2D platformer by guiding you through a number of learning cycles coupled with hands on development. A game project will be used to illustrate the Unity features and development pipeline but these features are transferrable across industries other than games.
This workshop is aimed at developers of a beginners level or those that are new to developing with Unity.
Developers of an intermediate level may benefit from the insight into the wide range of Unity features covered in this workshop.
To get the most out of the workshop, we expect attendees to have an awareness and appreciation of content creation tools and/or development pipelines.
This workshop project is a 2D platformer.
